Jeffery H. Sheetz is a Senior Attorney at Greenfield Stein & Senior specializing in trusts and estates and commercial litigation. Mr. Sheetz graduated from Columbia Law School in 1976 as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He received his B.A. in History and graduated summa cum laude from Duke University in 1972.

Since joining Greenfield Stein & Senior in 1992, Mr. Sheetz has been involved in a wide variety of litigation, including RICO cases, contract and other commercial disputes, and trusts and estates litigation. Mr. Sheetz has briefed and argued a number of appeals before the New York State Appellate Division, and has briefed several appeals before the New York Court of Appeals.
Mr. Sheetz spent the early part of his career with the firms of Burke & Burke, Daniels Leighton & Reid and Olwine, Connelly, Chase, O’Donnell & Weyher, where he had substantial experience in general commercial litigation as well as trusts and estates litigation. For three years of his tenure at the Olwine firm, he worked closely with the Honorable Judith S. Kaye, former Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals.

Mr. Sheetz was admitted to the New York State bar in 1977. He is also admitted to the Pennsylvania bar, and to the bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Mr. Sheetz is a member of the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the American Bar Association.
