Amy F. Altman is a Partner at Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP. Ms. Altman focusses on fiduciary litigation matters such as probate contests, discovery proceedings, accounting proceedings, kinship matters and other miscellaneous litigation in Surrogate’s Court. She has also been appointed to act as guardian ad litem to represent minors, unknown heirs and incapacitated individuals by Surrogates in multiple counties. Ms. Altman provides her clients with the time, attention and tools to understand how to best navigate their matter within the Surrogate’s Court.

Ms. Altman is a contributor to Trusts & Estates Magazine, Law.com, the New York Law Journal, the New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Newsletter and the Nassau Lawyer.

Prior to joining Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP, Ms. Altman was a partner and head of the Trusts and Estates Department in the Long Island office of Abrams Fensterman, LLP, where her practice focused on fiduciary litigation, estate planning and estate administration.

Ms. Altman is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association and on board of directors of the Nassau County Bar Association.

Ms. Altman received her B.A. from New York University and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Ms. Altman is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Ms. Altman lives in Nassau County with her husband Erik, and their three daughters.
