Adam D. Solomon is an associate at Greenfield Stein & Senior, specializing in complex Trust & Estate litigation matters. His practice area includes will contests, discovery proceedings, contested accountings, fiduciary litigation, and other miscellaneous litigation. Mr. Solomon represents and advises executors, trustees, and beneficiaries with respect to Surrogate’s Court proceedings, beneficial interests and disputes, and both contested and uncontested administration matters with respect to Wills, Trusts, and Estates, and has been involved in Article 81 Guardianship Proceedings as a Guardian and as counsel. Mr. Solomon is regarded for his sensitive and efficient approach to complex Trust & Estate litigation matters.

Mr. Solomon also represents clients in estate planning matters, including formulating estate plans and drafting various estate planning documents such as Wills, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Gift Trusts and Special Needs Trusts, health care proxies, powers of attorney, living wills and dispositions of remains, ensuring that clients’ wishes are properly documented, carried out, and geared to withstand scrutiny and future challenges. Prior to joining Greenfield Stein & Senior, Mr. Solomon was an associate at a boutique Long Island elder law firm where he managed their Trusts & Estates litigation department, and an associate of the Trusts & Estates department in the Long Island office of Abrams Fensterman, LLP, where he represented and advised clients in Trust & Estate litigation matters, contested Guardianship matters, estate planning, and estate administration.

Mr. Solomon has been designated as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers New York Metro in years 2020-2023, a distinction earned by only 2.5% of attorneys in New York and an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Mr. Solomon is a member of the Trusts & Estate Sections of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.

Mr. Solomon received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law where he was a Dean’s Scholar, served as Managing Editor of Staff for the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal, was a member of the Moot Court Board, and interned for the Disaster Recovery Law Clinic representing individuals suffering from the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy, and earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Utica College of Syracuse University.
