John Guccione is an associate at Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP, specializing in all manner of trusts and estates and fiduciary litigation – including contested probate and accounting proceedings, discovery proceedings, contested accountings, and fiduciary removal proceedings. He has been appointed as guardian ad litem to represent incapacitated individuals, minors, and unknown heirs in the Kings County Surrogate’s Court, and is the immediate past Secretary of the New York City Bar Association’s Trusts, Estates, and Surrogate’s Court Committee.

Mr. Guccione graduated from Brooklyn Law School, cum laude, in 2015, and was admitted to practice law in New York in 2016. At Brooklyn Law School, he served as a Note and Comments Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy, where his article Moving Past a “Pocket Change” Settlement: The Threat of Preemption and How the Loss of Chance Doctrine Can Help NFL Concussion Plaintiffs Prove Causation, 22 J.L. & Pol’y 907 (2014) was published, and interned for the Hon. Robert J. Gigante of the Richmond County Surrogate’s Court. Prior to law school, Mr. Guccione graduated cum laude from SUNY College at Geneseo in 2010 with a B.A. in history.

Mr. Guccione is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Section, the New York City Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
